How did you win this project?
We first met PepsiCo. at the MSDUK meet-the-buyer workshops. In fact we met them over a series of workshops, all the time reminding them of ourselves and showing them other projects we had successfully completed.
We are very good relationship with one individual who jhas been our champion within PepsiCo. This has been the key to winning this business as it is this person that put our name forward to the brand manager.
Following a 3 way ‘unpaid’ creative pitch and submission of costs, we were awarded the redesign project for a 20 pack Cheese variety bag. We are proud to say that this pack has been onsale in Sainsburys since November 2007.
How easy has it been to engage with your client?
Overall, the process has been no different to how we usually work. Although PepsiCo.are a large corporate giant, they only operate because of people. And generally speaking, the people we work with all want the same thing: effective creative design, delivered to an agreed date at a cost within their budget.
The length of time to winning our first project is no longer than I expected either. I think it is probably 2 years since we first met PepsiCo., an number of meetings and consistent, but not intrusive staying in touch!
What are the benefits of working with this Corporate cient?
There are a number of benefits. The work is inspiring which helps to motivate our staff. The client is blue chip which gives Standout credibility in the eyes of other clients. We received a purchase order and we know when we will be paid. The company is very progressive and open, making it enjoyable to work with them.
What are the benefits of this Corporate client working with you?
We are able to react quickly and efficiently. We are more competitive on price than their retained agency. We are very creative and very capable of delivering on projects like this. We are easy to work with and very professional. We have proactively gained an insight into their proofing and production processes.
